Eddie George, Daunte Culpepper, Marshall Faulk, Michael Vick, Donovan McNabb, and Shaun Alexander have all felt the sting of the Madden Curse. And now, Vince Young is starting to feel it too.
What more can happen to Vince Young? The season hasn't even begun yet. I will predict a shoulder injury during the Tennessee Titans' last pre-season game, against Green Bay. The injury will keep Young out most of the season.
Year after year, the Madden Curse works its magic to its unsuspecting cover athlete. When will football players start realizing the terrible danger they put themselves in by agreeing to be on the cover. Thankfully, the 49ers players aren't good enough to warrant a spot on the cover.
