Wolves vs Warriors Part 3

The Western Conference is tough. How tough? The ninth place team in the West could be the fourth place in the East. Utah is the ninth team at 22-17. The Warriors, in 8th place, are at 22-16. So in essence, Warriors better win out if they plan on making the playoffs.

Which brings us to this current road trip. The first opponent is the down and out Minnesota, followed by the beatable Indiana, Chicago, and Milwaukee. Preferably, the Warriors should go 4-0 on the roadtrip. Realistically, they may fall to Chicago and go 3-1.

The big news of this past week was the injury to Andrew Bynum. Bynum is a beast in the middle and the doctors gave him an 8 week timetable to get back into action. Without Bynum, Kobe will have to shoulder the load again as he did in last night's game against Seattle where he hoisted up 43 shots in an OT win. If the Lakers falter, the Warriors may end up moving up a spot.
