Warriors vs Timberwolves: Where's KG?

KG is gone, gone, gone!

The Timberwolves are probably the least attended game when they play on the road. They also have the worst record in the league, so they could have the lowest attendance at home as well.

So the Warriors should have an easy time of it tonight, right?

Not bloody likely.

The Warriors scheme does not allow for easy victories. Even when up by 20+, the Warriors always find a way to squander the lead and make the contest into a game (see Detroit and Memphis). The Warriors have bad half-court play, so the only way they can score is on transitional baskets which leads to more possessions by the opposing teams. In their half-court sets, the Warriors usually end up just chucking a three which is the lowest percentage shot you can get. The only time we will ever see the rooks get some playing time is when the Warriors are the one getting blown out.

Taking a look at the Timberwolves lineup, they seem pretty athletic. They have two bruisers in Jefferson and Smith which can probably bully the Warriors front line. They also have athletic players in Brewer, Green, and Gomes to hassle the Warriors' guards. Unfortunately for them, they can't shoot. Fortunately for them, teams get their shooting touch back against the Warriors.

This game can go either way.

RE: Warriors vs Timberwolves: Where's KG?

The return of Troy Hudson to Minnesota !

Or not.

Sad to hear that T-Hud's career might be over. Maybe the Wolves will sign him to a 10-day contract so he can end his career as a member of the T-Wolves.
