Warriors looking to stay above .500 on the road

Well, the Warriors had it going in the first quarter against the Pistons yesterday. Unfortunately, the Pistons defense was just too much and the Warriors offense was too cold. The Pistons went on a 28-5 run and effectively ended the chance of any comeback. We did see Wright and Belinelli get some run, so that was nice. Wright was active and gave the Warriors a number of extra possessions with his length. Belinelli had a sweet fadeaway jumper--a flashback to his Summer League days.

Tonight's game is against the Memphis Grizzlies. Taking a look at them on paper, they seem like a pretty decent team. Then you take a look at their record and wonder what the hell happened.

Rudy Gay has come into his own as a scorer. Mike Miller is still doing his thing. Juan Carlos Navarro provides them with a nice 3-point shooter. Darko Millic adds muscle and toughness on the inside. Kyle Lowry seems to get almost ten free throw attempts a game. And they have their own star in Pau Gasol.

As a team, they are either in the middle of the pack or slightly above average in every statistical category. So, how the hell can they have such a poor record?

Hopefully, the Grizzlies will be still having the same problems when facing the Warriors. Unfortunately, the Warriors don't play defense so the Grizzlies will probably break out of their funk against them.

Will the real Warriors please stand up? Please stand up...

Did the Warriors forget how to play defense after the weekend? Their play in the first quarter so far is pure bullshit.

Mike Miller has Olympic powers

Mike Miller chucked that three from 5 feet behind the line. That reminded me of "Thunder" Dan Majerle when he played for the Phoenix Suns.
