The Return of Matt Bonner

Matt Bonner returns to the Oracle Arena to put on a dominating performace once again. In the last matchup between the Warriors and Spurs, Bonner busted out for 25 pts on 9 for 17 shooting, 3 of 4 from the three point line and grabbed 17 rebounds over the vertically-challenged Warriors. With rumors of Tim Duncan sitting tonight's game out, look for Bonner to again run amuk on the Warriors' home court.

In their game against the Hornets a few nights ago, the Warriors looked as bad as the weather outside the arena. At times, the players looked like they were just going through the motions, having given up. The Hornets were able to execute their offense at will. Only Baron and Andris showed up for the game. Baron had an all-star performance in the first half and Andris tallied a 10 for 11 night.

During the break between the Hornets game and tonight's game, a couple roster moves were made. Mbenga was released from the team before the contract guarantee deadline, saving the Warriors $500k for the season. Kosta Perovic was called up to replace his spot on the bench. POB will be Biedrins primary backup at center. Although knowing Nellie, Harrington will probably get the majority of minutes at center when Biedrins sits.

Hudson is about to go under the knife to fix his hip and will most likely be cut. CJ Watson was called up from the Dleague to replace his position at backup point guard. Checking out his stats, Watson is a scoring guard shooting 50% from the field, 40% from 3s and 90% from the free throw stripe. Based on his game log, he gets to the free throw line a bunch of times a game, so he does not settle for 3s which is good. In his last game, he scored 42 pts going 15-19 from the FT line.
