The Blazers have now joined Jazz, Lakers, Hornets, and Spurs as teams the Warriors do not want to face in the playoffs.
On the bright side, CJ Watson looks like a good pickup. While everyone else on the team was settling for contested jump shots, Watson actually drove into the lane to either get fouled or pass it off to an open player. His shot looks smooth and we know he can hit his free throws. A perfect backup point guard for the Warriors.
With the blowout, we were able to see extended minutes for the bench players. Belinelli missed his first few shots but seemed to get into a grove on the screen curls. His defense however leaves much to desire.
Amazingly, Pietrus hoisted up double digit attempts and made such a poor percentage. Hopefully, a trade is on the horizon so we won't have to see him again.
Austin Croshere had an amazing putback dunk late in the game. He really skyed for the ball and slammed it back down with authority. Hopefully, I can find a clip of it later on.
Brandan Wright was okay; grabbed a lot of offensive boards but he didn't really stand out for me.
Tonight's game should be winnable. But, Gasol is back and he absolutely kills the Warriors everytime they play. With the slashing Gay and the sharpshooter Miller along with the return of Mike Conley, this game has upset written all over it.
