Chris Webber is slow.
Warriors' fans were witness to how slow he was in the Bulls loss Thursday night on the very first play. He rumbled down the court and flipped up a shot that careemed off the glass, totally missing the basket.
I also did not see the cutting offense with Webber at the helm. He stood at the top of the key with the ball in his hands and every wing player stood around the 3 pt line with their hands on their hips. The only player even remotely close to the basket was Biedrins and he already did that before Webber came to the team.
The Bulls loss was just plain embarrassing. The Bulls had only eight healthy players with Hinrich, Gordon, and Deng inactive. The Warriors had five full days of rest so they shouldn't be tired. Is it even possible to lose when the team causes 24 turnovers and takes 20 more shots?
Certain players didn't show up to play, most notably Davis and Jackson. Both of them regressed to taking early three's. Harrington came up firing, hitting most of his shots in the first half but wasn't put in during crunch time in the fourth. Biedrins was the only defense in the middle and was taken out during a key stretch in the fourth. Ellis was on fire, hitting 11 of his 12 shot attempts, but the ball never found it's way to him.
Just another loss in which the Warriors should have easily one, along with the Minnesota, Houston, and Indiana games. Now the Warriors are 29-20 and tied for the 8th spot in the West with Houston. Their next opponent is the Kings who have a 23-25 record. They just beat Utah so they're riding on a high right now. I don't see a win in the stars for the Warriors tonight.

RE: The Curse of Chris Webber Returns
Don't forget, the Warriors didn't really have five full days of rest. They had that mini training camp with Webber. That probably tired them out. Blame that on Webber.
