The San Francisco Giants open training camp with a number of fresh, young faces. Barry Bonds and Pedro Feliz were not resigned and Aaron Rowand was brought in to man center field.
The other positions are open for battle among the young Giants--Frandsen, Ortmeier, Ishikawa, Velez, Davis, and Schierholtz in the mix.
The new motto for the Giants this season is Warrior Spirit. Find the Swagger.
Not exactly sure what the phrase means. But, they may have to ask another team in the Bay Area on how to live by the motto--namely, the Golden State Warriors.
